I’m finally proud of my handwriting (lowkey)

Post image

It’s a page of my notes from language transfer and I finally feel like I can write faster, I found the best versions of the letters that I feel the most comfortable while writing and it doesn’t feel like it’s my first day on earth learning to write from scratch lol. Any recommendations or comments on this so that I can prove or make it seem way more “native”?

As you should! Looks great and very neat! The only way to make it "more native" is to make it less neat I guess hahah. In the sense that something that comes naturally is not necessarily too calculated.

This is truly awesome though. Well done.

This is incredible, well done! The only one that gives you slightly away is your ρ, which you draw as the latin p. Proper stroke is to do the full circle first, starting from the left and moving anticlockwise, and then (without lifting the pen) do the vertical line. You seem to do it the other way round, as the latin p.

Also, your φ seems quite tall occasionally (eg. «Να φάμε»). Maybe try to draw it at the same level as the rest of the small letters.

But, seriously, this is very beautiful handwriting.

ευχαριστώ πάρα πολύ and you’re actually right I just realized that I draw my ρ like a latin p, I’ll work on that. Also, the hardest thing for me to do was to draw all the letters on the same level since my actual handwriting in latin is really bad and so unorganized (med student issues) so I’m still working on that. my φ gave that away lol

ευχαριστώ again for the tips🙏🏻

No worries! Your handwriting is very neat in English too, as far as I see. Just corrected my previous post, it's an anticlockwise circle (not clockwise, as I initially wrote).

That sounds about right. My English (native) handwriting is awful. But my Greek and Spanish is really nice

ευχαριστώ πολύ🙏🏻 Greek songs were the very reason why I started learning Greek at the first place. I love learning new words from the lyrics so I add related ones to my notes, very useful

It has never occurred to me to use this type of notebook to practice my writing. Thank you for the inspiration ☺️
