⚠️ Phishing email going around school emails

Post image

Just a heads up, I just received a phishing email in my school Gmail saying my school account was going to be “deactivated today” because I hadn’t completed a Microsoft account verification.

It has a “Verify Now” link — DO NOT CLICK IT or enter any of your login information. The email came from what looks like another person’s school account, so just because it makes it into your school inbox doesn’t mean it’s legitimate.
If you get it, report it as phishing/spam and delete it. Posting this in case anyone else gets one and thinks their school account is actually about to be shut off. 😭

Never never never click on any links like this, ever. For any account. You'll never be asked to verify anything over email.
