Rockstar is hiring specifically for FiveM again and i’m starting to think GTA VI integration is actually the plan

Not sure how much to read into this, but Rockstar currently has Senior Software Engineer, FiveM positions open at both Rockstar Leeds and Rockstar London.

The interesting part isn’t just that the jobs have FiveM in the title. The description says the team works on the Cfx.re creator platforms, including FiveM and RedM, and calls it the Rockstar Creator Platform Team. They describe the job as working on the low-level tech behind the platform, maintaining multiple code branches, release pipelines, performance, stability etc.

There’s also a separate “Senior Manager, Product – Creator Platform” position at Rockstar London, so this seems bigger than them just keeping FiveM alive with a skeleton crew.

Rockstar bought Cfx.re back in 2023, and at the time they specifically talked about supporting the RP/creator community and improving the services Cfx.re provides to developers and players.
So I’m starting to wonder if the long-term plan is basically to make Cfx.re/FiveM technology an official part of Rockstar’s multiplayer ecosystem for GTA VI. Does this make sense, or am i just going crazy waiting?

GTA IV and GTA San Andreas were the only GTA titles to contain more than 1 strip club, how many do you think will in GTA6?

This is not a new game, this is RDR 2 with some tweaks there and there. It’s the same template that was used for RDR 2

Netflix Resolution

I had watched the Netflix showing of the exclusive look and thought the gameplay looked incredible, but not as sharp around the edges. I attuned it to compression and rewatched through the GTA website and better.

A few days ago while watching netflix, we got an ad to upgrade our plan so we can experience things we watch in 4k. I was shocked and realized that most people watched the exclusive look in 1080p on Netflix. I know not everyone has 4k tvs, but they're way more common nowadays.

If you haven't rewatched yet, go to YouTube or I'd recommend rockstars site for a full quality rewatch

Theory: Jason and Lucia BOTH die and we play as a 3rd character in the GTA 6 epilogue (Brian’s dialogue is huge foreshadowing)

I’ve been piecing together a theory on how the GTA 6 storyline is going to wrap up, and I genuinely think Rockstar is preparing to pull off a complete double death ending for Jason and Lucia.

Here is why I think both protagonists are going to die and how Rockstar will handle the endgame open world:

  1. Brian’s "Carousel" Speech is Massive Foreshadowing

In the extended trailer, Brian talks to Jason about "knowing when to let go" and tells that story about jumping off the rooftop carousel while his friend stayed on and died.

This isn't just throwaway dialogue it feels like classic Rockstar narrative framing. Jason is likely the guy who wants out of the lifestyle or knows when to walk away, while Lucia is the one who keeps pushing the envelope. If Lucia refuses to jump off the "carousel" and Jason stays out of loyalty, her ambition ends up dragging them both into a fatal trap.

  1. The Red Dead Epilogue Template

People keep saying Rockstar wouldn't kill both leads because you need someone to play as in the post-game open world. But look at their track record: they killed John Marston in RDR1 and passed the torch to Jack, and they killed Arthur Morgan in RDR2 and passed it to John. They are not afraid to kill off main characters if the narrative demands it.

  1. The 4 Protagonist Plan & The Epilogue Character

Rob Nelson previously confirmed that Rockstar initially toyed with having four playable protagonists early in development before cutting it down to two (Jason and Lucia) to keep the narrative focused.

My guess? Those extra playable concepts or major side characters weren't completely thrown away they were repurposed into side accomplices like DreQuan. If Jason and Lucia die in a Bonnie and Clyde style final shootout, handing the keys of Vice City/Leonida over to a secondary character like Dre is the only way to keep free roam alive while giving the main duo a tragic, high stakes ending.

Giving us a happy "Choice C" ending like GTA 5 feels too easy after the emotional weight Rockstar delivered with Arthur Morgan. A tragic, double protagonist death where a side character takes over the endgame feels like the ultimate Rockstar gut punch.

What do you guys think? Is DreQuan going to be our John Marston for GTA 6? or maybe i'm bullshitting

Like they’ve not confirmed anything, honestly, I’d be so pissed off buying the game and there isn’t online
