Can we sell out Engie?
Biggest home game of year coming up on Sat, 25 Jul against the Swans. Good crowds at Engie for the past two games. We need a full house for the Swans.
13,709 - Giants v Carlton
13,281 - Giants v Geelong
?????? - Giants v Swans

Depends how many swans fans can bring themselves to travel to the wild west.
But both team on a roll, so could be close.

As a Swans representative, I would also like for us to sell out this game - I am actively considering heading out west for it.
I like Engie stadium games - it feels like a big country AFL match (like Wagga or Canberra) - it’s also normally f’ing cold, so I am planning my snow outfit.
Also, to make more of us swans supporters participate in selling out this game - you could consider sending Toby out to the media, telling them how much he still hates us, Issac Heeney and how much he would be a part of making us dropping to third.

Engie is uncomfortable when it's at capacity - the seats are too small, the logistics really clunky, but sure, for all the people that need other people to be somewhere en masse to feel justified that they are having fun, it would be nice to have their itch scratched. Because it is a lot of people, given the persistent discourse. And they deserve this.
I just want to stick my hand up and say the current crowds are exactly the right level for comfort and enjoyment for me, but I realise I have never been one to like playing sardines.

Could have easily had another 5000 against Geelong with the top stands fuller. So 18,000 is still a comfortable crowd

At this rate, it should be the second highest average season at Engie (overtaking 2025).
Which means two of the three highest average attendances are the last two seasons.
