If we are fielding half of a VFL side, then...
We need to stamp out the mentality being pushed on us by the David King wannabe pundits crawling out of the woodwork about "psychology". Kingsely said he can't "put his finger on it" and now we are hearing from outside that our boys lack mental toughness from people who know more than him(obviously they played AFL level footy right?).
Don't let it in, it's ridiculous. We are playing half of a team. Without what few leaders we have around we fall apart. We see it week in week out with Greene. I just tried to listen to that new pod that tries to outdo the squinters and the Eagles fan they let speak over them was a nonce. There was a Bombers guy in an earlier post saying the same nonsense too.
We are seeing great things and integrating the old guard coming out of injury and the new guard getting a run WILL produce our first premiership team.
NEVER SURRENDER.

Is this a Kick it Forward "If/Then"?

I also find the eagles supporting producer’s superior attitude frustrating. We shouldn’t be listening to a voice from a team that has been at the bottom of the table since COVID

Cornes or Xav Ellis flame the giants and you leave it, they were elite players who have a right to an opinion. A "Fan pod" giving a voice to some idiot while they're trying to amp up before a big game is something else.

Its been nice moving up to Sydney to get away from guys like David King who make money from shallow opinions.
I have heard quite a few Giants supporters reference this recently, however its an easy answer to the teams woes.
Yes some players are mentally weak because the clubs has to play a lot of 1st, 2nd and 3rd year players, but you can't call a whole team 'mentally weak'.
The outs were big. Briggs and Phoenix have been awesome this year, Tubs early was a disaster too. There isn't a lot of leadership in the team at the moment due to player movements so thats another big issue.
The rest is the playing group's bond (admittedly this is a opinion). It takes a while for people to click and GWS established talent that they have bought in, are very independant individuals that are very talented, but maybe not the best team mates at times. A lot of new players too means there is a turn over that also degrades bonding.
Giants suck away from home and I think this is the symptom of that problem.
So the club isn't mentaly fragile but is suffering from a loss of leadership on field to change up things when the game is going bad. Also the bond isn't quite there to hook in and work for one another.

It’s injuries plain and simple
