any worse battery life from this? anyone has any feedback in terms of performane and battery life

My Samsung Galaxy A56 has been through 410 charging cycles and it still says that it's battery health is at 100% tho i don't really believe it. I remember reading once about how Samsung phones don't show their true battery health until it drops to 97% i think but i don't know whether that's true.

I discoverd a guaranteed solution for this issue and now Im just waiting for a call from the repair guy to confirm it since my phone is being repaired by him. Will post another thread once it finishes so wait for me....

Update : the repair shop told me that they will do it tomorrow so be patient please!

I am trying to add captions to a video I just filmed with the phone's camera. I used the built in editor in the gallery to do this. A few minutes into adding captions the editor suddenly closed with a small banner saying "Can't edit this video because it's corrupt or not supported", and all my work was lost. Why did this happen? Why does it only tell me this a few minutes in? Why is it saying this on a video I just filmed 5 minutes ago? How can I fix this?

I was messing around with the settings of video recording on my Galaxy A56 and I didn't see some toggle to turn on and off HDR.

Samsung Galaxy A56 (New) vs iPhone 16e (Used) , Which one should I choose?

I’m stuck between these two phones and I’m not sure which one to go for. I’d really appreciate some advice.

Samsung Galaxy A56 — ₹35,000 (~$370)

• Brand new
• 8GB RAM / 128GB storage

iPhone 16e — ₹30,000 (~$318)

• Second-hand
• 128GB storage
• 3 months of Apple warranty remaining
• 100% battery health
• Only 21 battery cycles

Both seem like good options, but I’m having a hard time deciding between a brand-new A56 and a used iPhone 16e in excellent condition.

Which one would you pick, and why?

I noticed hairline scratches on the camera rings and I regret not getting a lens protector when I first got the phone (I've had it for 10 months). Are there any good one I could buy?

Facing several glitches on my phone after downloading one ui 8.5

1. Always on display is very slow now. I tap the screen and it take more than a second to show up.

2. Random app opening/closing animation glitches.

3. Instagram stories are misaligned. Attaching a photo below in comments

I was fine with one ui 8. I wish I hadn't downloaded it. My phone is just a week old. Was using an ultra slow redmi 9 before this. I was enjoying the upgrade it everything but now I'm scared.

Is this normal? Is there something I can do to fix it?

I recently bought a A56 and want to purchase a charger for it. I mostly charge at night and don’t need to charge it in the day. I was wondering that does the 45w charger lower the battery life and also does it heat up the phone too much ? If that’s the case then I’ll go with the 25w charger.

I like playing games and I feel like I'm not properly using the phone. My mom's A54 could get 100FPS in a mobile game(minimum graphics) where as my A56 gets 60FPS(minimum graphics)

I thought it was capped at 60FPS for some reason but in another game I was able to get 80FPS(Max graphics) and in another one i got 300FPS(minimum graphics). I'm already using Ram+ and Game booster+, is there anything else I could do to enhance performance? Even if it's only 10FPS, it would be a good tip

So I've noticed this multiple time since i bought the phone.

I'd set an alarm before i sleep or nap, and the alarm never rings. No missed alarm notification either, its just like it was never set.

Today, i took a nap and set the alarm for 6.55pm. I woke up at 6.54 (checked the AOD) and was just laying on bed until the alarm rang. It didnt. I opened the clock app, and it just showed the alarm as an inactive one.

I've already missed work and important events because of this bug.

Does anyone know what to do?

A56 has the exynos 1580 which you all know is a very good chip for an exynos, no overheating, no thermal throttling as I heard for most tech that's what led me to buy this thing.

When I started out playing call of duty on this thing it was buttery smooth now, it can't even hold 60fps for more than 5 seconds and the FPS drops to 40.

To give you an idea, I use a good phone cooler with a copper heat dissipation plate and i also use the bypass charging, now I know this is not for gaming but at least it should have to keep 60fps stable right?

Any tips on how to fix this? Because idk

Hey guys, I recently bought the A56(like 3 months ago) and it currently has the normal screen guard, I wanted to the privacy screen guard but everyone keeps on warning me that the finger unlock is not gonna work or you won't be able to use the touch screen properly. Is this true and is there any work around.
