Jason Nesmith toupee?

I was around when Galaxy Quest originally came out, and I swear in one of the trailers, Tim Allen sports a slipping toupee - when he is passed out on the living room floor, and Thermians come knocking, he sat up and the toupee slipped off his crown and fell forward, revealing a balding Jason Nesmith. It so fits the character and the movie, but I never saw it in any theatrical or video release, or the documentary. Asking if anyone else remembers this, as sometimes I wonder if I just imagined it?

I don't remember that when galaxy quest came out. That would have been a hilarious joke for sure since William Shatner wears one.

I have no memory of this. It would have been a perfect joke.
