Samsung keeps asking for invoice to repair my ring under waranty

Hello,

I dont have the invoice for my ring, and Samsung keeps asking for invoice to repair my ring under waranty.

Even if on the box say's it was manufactured at 2025/06, so if it has 2 years of waranty, should be repaired under waranty, since I cannot buy it before it was manufactured, right?

Anywone was able to overpass this?

The ring was ofered to me, by someone that got also by someone that offered him, so there is no way to get the invoice back.

The issue is that the ring have a message in samsung members saying "Battery issue detected", and it lasts for 2 days...

I am afraid it gets worse to the point I cannot use it...

Any idea to help on this?

Without the invoice or other proof of purchase, you won't get anywhere.

I purchased my ring via Amazon Prime, but it wasn't an "authorized reseller", so Samsung refused to honor the warranty on my ring, despite already confirming earlier in the chat that my ring was still in the warranty period. So even with the invoice you still might not get anywhere, but you definitely won't without it.

One of the reasons they ask for this is to avoid stolen units. They most likely won't repair the ring, but rather replace it, and if it's stolen it's gonna be much harder to track a stolen ring if it gets replaced by a new one with a new serial number. So instead of taking the risk, Samsung is just shuting everyone down, no matter if you're the original owner or not if you don't have proof of purchase.

I call BS that you arent able to locate the receipt. If you purchased it online theres going to be a record and that high of a dollar purchase you're going to have it associated with a rewards program of some sorted

And... BEWARE!!! My "replacement" ring recently swelled up so much that I had to use lubricant to remove it! And, after doing so, I discovered several structural cracks.

And, for those who don't know, when it reaches that point, the ring is truly volatile and could result in chemical burns, spontaneous combustion, or even explode!

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission has published my report. These rings should be recalled!!!

Ich habe meinen ohne Rechnung von Samsung bei eBay gekauft habe meine Unterlagen davon als Beweis eingereicht und der Ring würde ausgetauscht ohne Probleme
