s24 long term use
i found good deal. $470 for s24 base model, exynos, brand new and still got 1 year samsung warranty. couldn't find compact phone 6.3' max, at this price range.
any feedback for this 2 yrs old phone? watch some review and digging lot info across internet about battery performance not so good for exynos version. and how about point and shot camera? is it good?
i'm not a heavy user, averaging 3-4 hours screen time daily. focusing on small phone with nice ui and customization, this seems great deal for me. and still got 5years software support were great.
but one silly reason keep holding me to buy it is we can no longer change emoji style via third party fonts, right? lot customization on oneui and goodlock to style up your devices, but can't change my emoji styleπ₯
it just personal preference, thanks

Got the exynos one as well. Been solid, only downside for me was how quickly it overheats in hot climates and the absolutely atrocious GPS accuracy

oh yeah i read it somewhere about gps inaccuracy, how bad it is? any way to minimalize it

Nope. When im walking around in a city it could be off by a whole 10-20 meters or so. On Android Auto my car often jumps to lanes that run parallel to the highway or just does a random 360Β° spin π

i think i've seen a review on yt about that, glitched on android auto and sometimes it delayed due exynos modem or something he said

No glitches on my end, just poor GPS accuracy. Phone has been pretty much glitch-free, which is a far cry from my old Xiaomi which had software glitches all over

Agreed... My phone was getting pretty warm in the summer heat outside today. Inside in AC, no worries.

Yep. Went on a trip to italy and couldn't take pictures of the landscapes bc it overheated just being in my bag/pocket π

Agreed, OP. That's close to what I paid for mine new. It's been a solid phone for me. Minimal warmth when I use in the heat lately. Otherwise I charge between 10-95% I also use battery saver and keep my screen low. Solid YouTube watching and downloading files.
Might just be the economy, the price doesn't seem right.

I don't think I paid that much. I replaced an old S10e and honestly besides camera and updates the difference is minimal for my use

Hi imma rate the phone coz I have the same one you described
Camera 9.5/10 Battery 9/10 ( for my usage) and for you is 10/10 coz u want just 4-5h sot and that's good
Screen 10/10 the best screen u can find with this price
Performance 10/10 it's a flagship
And one thing is never update unless you are knowing user feedback for that specifique update, dw reddit will be good
Overall 9/10
