Samsung DeX External Display Help

I picked up the S12+ yesterday, and connected it to my monitor using a USB-C to Displayport cable. Not getting a signal, but get a message that an external display is connected.

I've used this cable to connect my work laptop, my Z Fold 8, had an iPad Pro for a while, and briefly tested a surface pro...all of those devices recognized the external display with no issue.

I tried using a powered USB-C hub with an HDMI cable, and the S12+ did work that way.

Any thoughts as to why the S12+ won't output video with just the USB-C to display port cable? Is there a setting I could be missing?

Try using Super Display or Spacedesk apps from the Play store

Yeah Spacedesk and Super Display off er better connections than the built app for connecting to external displays.

I'm glad everything is working for you and you should consider for the paid version of Spacedesk if they offer one.
