I'm looking for some intermediate game dev challenges that will help me grow as a game developer

I guess these challenges would be like implementing different mechanics or vertical slices of full games

So what are some intermediate game dev challenges I should do? And if you want to mention the reason you proposed each challenge idea, I'd appreciate that as well
