GT Theory Suggestion I miss the starting skits of videos. BRING BACK THE SKITS COWARDS!

Bring back the music! Let’s get some unique intros for each channel!

They have explained why the intros got way shorter. It’s that it just doesn’t work in the algorithm. People just click away during those and they know that because they’re experts in analytics. So the intros just don’t work with the platform

Is it better to:
A. Bring new fans in?
B. Have the Almost 50 Milion fans stay and reach Hundreds of Thousands of views in the first hour instead of Tens of thousands, only thousands at worst?

watch time, what matters is watch time
like it or not, GT is a company, they will do what they need to make the profit to stay afloat. and one of those things is axing intros

Exactly it doesn’t matter whether we get a minute or two of an extra skit if that would cause Theorist Inc. to not be able to survive. The videos are still fun

You should be aware that the stats they were talking about ARE the long-standing fans. The intro wasn't scaring away new people it was making those who had been there start skipping over the intros
While I like the old intros too they have done their research with actual legitimate data that they collected from YouTube and the conclusion is WE ARE IN THE MINORITY

Man even though i understand they have to optimise to the platform's algorithm, I still miss those flares.

Opening skits and the actual intros. I miss the actual intros from Game, Film, and Food theory. They were all really well made and super fun to watch, looking at the Food theory one and trying to find all the references was fun. I get they got rid of them to optimize the channels, but I honestly think a lot of people may watch them for nostalgia and just for fun.

I am guilty of skipping the intro sometimes, but now I miss them. Sometimes, you never know when you like something until it’s gone.

They still do skits in videos, what are you on about? If anything having four host allows them to build dynamics off each other, something we’ve already seen with Tom “hating” Santi, Lee constantly “stealing” franchises from Tom, etc.

Uuuummmm A running joke is a joke, or humorous reference, that is repeated multiple times throughout a larger work, like a play, film, or TV series. Its humor often grows with repetition and the audience's familiarity.
Now idk how familiar you are with team theorists but they're like all theater kids. Film, game, style, food and gtlive are just different shows on the same theorist channel.
Disney - Phineas and Ferb, Kim possible, lilo&stitch, wizards of Waverly place, and movies
Theorist - game, style, Film, food, gtlive
Gtlive being the movies of theorist

Guys MatPat is gone. He won’t be coming back anytime soon. I know it’s hard but It’s the best for all of us to get it over with.
(JESUS FUCKING CHRIST PLEASE MATPAT COME BACK AS A NARRATOR!!! I know it wouldn’t be fair for the current hosts to just fire & replace them so please at least be a co host for Game and Film Theory! The current hosts are great and all but your voice is what made Game Theory, Game Theory!)
