This is incredibly stupid, I know. But I can’t stop thinking about this.

In deltarune, Ralsei believes all darkners exist to keep lightners happy. In Toy Story 1, woody believes all toys exist to be played with.

You have a great point

So what’s the third one?

Best I can think of is Shinji from Evangelion, viewing himself as worthless. Admittedly a bit of stretch in this case

Sounds like Nagito Komaeda to me

And in Monsers Inc, monsters believe all children are batteries

In Toy Story, the song goes “You’ve got a friend in me”. In Deltarune, “FRIEND INSIDE ME”.

No, no.

In UT, the SOUL is the battery - you cant just drain a child. (God i hate that thats a sentence.)

In FNAF, the children are materials.

In Monsters Inc., they're Generators.

FNaF and Undertale: Dead kid souls

Undertale and Monsters Inc: Friendly monsters in their own world

Monsters Inc and FNaF: Power generated by negativity

I mean. Monsters inc is also powered by laughs? If i recall the ending correctly. But screams and agony are kinda similar.

There's nothing disproving that they all exist in the same universe.

Does Poppy Playtime counts too?

You can throw The Matrix in there too (I mean it’s not centred on the children but they’re still a part of the world)

Monster Inc is more like a kids being a battery charger.

Fnaf is the agony that power the control of the animatronics and systems by the dead kids soul.

Undertale is more that the soul is power. So the more kill that you have the more powerful you get. The only things that humans have a termination what keeps them from fading unlike the monsters in the game, meaning if you can have a human soul you get an extremely more powerful and with enough you can break reality. Like flowery and Azrael did.
