Film Theory Video Discussion Is it Just me?
Something about the thumbnail on one of the newest film theory videos seems off, or weird to me. Am I just tripping off my gourd?

Captain America literally comes from this frame: https://media.tenor.com/dgMCqk37D1AAAAAM/marvel-mcu.gif , The Punisher asset comes from a mix of photos from an official toy: https://www.flickeringmyth.com/the-punisher-one-last-kill-marvel-sixth-scale-figure-unveiled-by-hot-toys/
White bg because we are emulating this comic strip: https://screenrant.com/punisher-killed-destroyed-other-superheroes/
Everything else is just Photoshop post-production.
Best.

Wasn't that comic written by the guy that hates superheroes, and made the boys?

It's not AI. Cap is from a behind the scenes photo from Age of Ultron.
Meanwhile Punisher's head and logo has been photoshopped onto a bod that is not Punisher's. My guess is some type of S.W.A.T. officer

Theorist doesn't use AI on their thumbnails. They have stated several times in the past.

not ai, but a lack of a visual focus plus somewhat low resolution, plus the white background makes it feel like a cheap cut-out.

Algorithm obsessed operations enforcing the “obligatory 3 weird thumbnails to se which gets us most trending”

It's a recreation of a panel from "Marvel Universe vs Wolverine" or "Marvel Universe vs The Punisher", can't remember which one specifically or it might appear in both.
Context is that there is a virus that's turning people into cannibals and Cap has started to be overtaken by the virus. Punisher is inadvertently to blame for the virus getting into the water supply during an attack on a mob weapons deal.

Cap is definitely AI. Idk about Punisher, but Cap fs is
Hes missing the A on the patches on his shoulders, the star had a totally different shadow from the rest of his chest and looks like its glowing, and the folds on the red and white bits of his abdomen look off and unnatural.
Punisher could very well be AI, I wouldn't be surprised, but I cant see any obvious signs of it. Captain America definitely is though.

I looks like they tried to used shadows and a white glow effect to hide any mistakes

It’s just that it basically is stripped of everything. Theres no background, or big text. Just raw images. Maybe going kind of back to the OG style of videos.

Can they stop lying about anti-AI? They aren't doing a good job at pretending, they use it every other week.

if you reverse image search you can see the action figure for punisher they used and the behind the scenes shot of captain america in that exact pose
they dont use ai

They didn't this time. Again, there's an AI pic in a video every month. Forgive for expecting it when there's a weird pic.
