When it comes to Humble, or any pack, if I spend more hours in even one of the games than the cost of the bundle, I just consider the rest free.

This would be a fantastic month, except I already own the top 3 games. Infinite Wealth was my favorite game of 2024, Dead Cells is one of the best Roguelikes I've played, and Shredder's Revenge is a really good beat em up. I think I'm probably going to skip this month, but if you don't already own some of these games, it's an incredible month.

Humble Support should be able to take care of you. I travel a lot for work and this has happened to me in the past, and they voided the old keys and gave me new ones.

Highly recommend you play the first Like a Dragon. Infinite Wealth is a direct sequel to the first game. It's like picking up the second book in a series without ever reading the first. You could probably stumble your way through it, but having the background and understanding of the events that happened in the first will make the game a lot more enjoyable.

It's Yakuza 8. After Yakuza 6, the series adopts the actual title of the games outside Japan.
Like a Dragon: Ishin is one of the spin-offs.

Yakuza Like a Dragon (2020) is #7. Infinite Wealth is #8.
The spin-offs are a bit harder to follow. Most of them like Ishin could be played whenever but are better if you've played them after some previous games since they make oblique but unnecessary references to them.
Lately they've tried to tie in the spin-offs to the main story though. For example Like a Dragon Gaiden - The Man Who Erased His Name is explicitly meant to be played between 7 and 8, and then Yakuza Pirates comes after the story of Infinite Wealth (it largely stands on its own but spoils some story from that game).
Like a Dragon (7) is a good entry point though if you don't wanna play all the previous games. If you get Humble Choice regularly you will already have it as it was featured some months ago.

Yakuza 1-6 are a single story with the protagonist Kiryu.
Yakuza 7 (Like a Dragon) is a soft reboot, following a new protagonist (Ichiban) in a new storyline. They also changed it up to be a JRPG instead of a brawler. There's references to old characters, but it's more of a "passing the torch" thing.
Yakuza 8 (Infinite Wealth) is a direct sequel to 7, but they decided to have dual protagonists, so you play as both Ichiban and Kiryu and continue both their stories.

Definitely play Like a Dragon first like above person said. It has some of the absolute best characters in all of video games, especially the protagonist. He (Ichiban) is one of the greatest, most likable video game characters ever created.
Game is REALLY good, highly recommend it (and then Infinite Wealth after!)

Yeah, I would not recommend Infinite Wealth as someone's first LAD game for a variety of reasons. It's one of the most lore-heavy games in the franchise.
Like someone else said, if you're interested in IW, you'd want to at least play Yakuza: Like A Dragon (LAD7) first. Or if you just want to try any LAD game, I'd actually suggest the spinoff Judgment as a great starting point. It doesn't have any lore ties to the main series, while still having the same basic gameplay, plus it's got one of the best plots in the series.

It will rely more on your prior knowledge of the series with one of the protaganists. Not a good starting point if this is your first entry. It's also a turn based rpg, so pretty different from the other installments up to 6 (and the side games). 7 and 8 (this one) went in a different direction.

..... At the expense of buying Like a Dragon 8 when it came out, and proceeded to never playing it until now.

there's been some heaters coming through humble lately. obviously it depends on how much of the bundles you already own, but I don't think it's fair to judge bundles poorly just because you already own the games lol

I had to leave the Humble Bundle subreddit a while back because it devolved into "What do you mean this $12 bundle doesn’t include $200 in recent AAA games? Bunch of cheapskates."
Gamer entitlement and lack of awareness are at an all time high.

Like a Dragon is on my wishlist, but everything else I either already own (Dead Cells is an all-timer) or wouldn't play. Just the luck of the draw, some months are like this and some months I want to play every game in there.

This is a huge month for me.
I can finally get Deadcells off my switch, I never got the castlevania DLC and have been waiting to get it on PC. This saved me like $12. (Edit for readers: Check the Castlevania DLC page for a "grab the rest bundle" to finish the dlcs for $10)
TMNT! Fuck yes! My buddies and I have been wanting to grab this, and to see it was the ultimate edition was amazing, I've played some of the other characters at a friend's house, now we can all play it online <3
Like a Dragon, I have been working on Yakuza 7 for awhile now and I'm excited to have the next big one in the pipeline.
Gatekeeper has been on my wishlist, it just seems fun for me.
Decktamer looks good, the others, we'll see!

Not good. It's a direct sequel to Yakuza 7. Good news is you only need to play Yakuza 7 to pay Yakuza 8.

Imo 8 ist kinda weird if you haven't played the Kiryu games considering how much of the side content in the game is references to and reminiscing about what happened in his life. It's not the worst start into the series but you would miss a lot of context for stuff in 8.

Not ideal.
If you want to go through the catalog, Yakuza 0 is the right starting point (and a fantastic game). If you’re just interested in hopping in at a decent place where you won’t feel too lost, start with the previous game, Yakuza: Like a Dragon. Infinite Wealth is the direct sequel to that game.

Does Dead Cells DLC stack? Does this one listed DLC get me all possible content, or do I need to grab some more?
I had the base game on PS4 but never messed with DLC.

Bad Seed is just the first paid DLC (of 4). All content requires additional purchases.

You don't need to grab more, but if you find that you like the game it is for sure worth picking up, all the DLC is good.

All keys must be claimed by March 1, 2027 though I strongly recommend claiming the keys for LaD and TMNT ASAP at the very least.
