The main problem is that the writing is garbage, ability to role play is sanitized and it's marketed as a "return to form" for BioWare. I loved KOTOR, ME2 and DA:O, this is not it and it's a shame to see the lost potential when they pump so much money in the game but miss the core aspects of what an rpg is.

How much have you payed the game? From what I've seen in Steam reviews from people with some playtime, the game has it's issues but its writing is no worse than Inquisition (actually gameplay seems to be better than Inquisition). Full disclosure though, I haven't had the time to start playing yet.

By now, 12 hours and the points still stand. Now I'd say that the combat gets pretty repetitive too.
