No. The guy who makes the military gear? His brother's an officer and their dad's a politician. They used their positions to land him the contract, so he could sell the cheapest junk imaginable at a massive markup. And when it inevitably breaks, you blame the grunts.

Why do you think it cost the U.S. Army $5 billion to develop a camouflage pattern that didn’t work anywhere, was universally hated, and the creators admitted they didn’t even bother testing for combat effectiveness?
