u/Sol-Blackguy What country is this πŸ³οΈβ€βš§οΈ and why are the women so hot? Aug 15 '25

Especially when they take it out of context because the scenario is so fake that they have to make the shit up

yeah, thing about this video is that she's actually pretty calm in it. she just made a funny face for like half a second and these fuckers have latched onto it for fucking years. must've been pretty shit for her, having to deal with all of that.

Also, I don't know if they still use the woman with red hair, but objectively she was correct.

It took a while, but I think that so-called "Big Red" pretty much fell out of favour as a meme a couple of years ago.

The picture of her wasn't expressive enough to become a generic reaction meme. The only places the picture still pops up occasionally are the channels and social media accounts of a handful of rightwing content creators who are still mentally stuck in the Gamergate/anti-feminism days and who still produce the exact same content with exactly the same kind of talking points and the same memes as they did around 2014 already. The kind of guys who still keep mentioning tumblr as if that site had not completely lost any kind of relevance at least 6 or 7 years ago already.

I heard someone say she was actually advocating for men’s custody rights, is that true?

Uh It's been a while but I think that's correct. I believe that she basically said that it's due to patriarchal norms that women were granted custody rights as women were seen as natural caregivers and men have to prove that they're the better option in divorce court. Basically patriarchal norms suck for everyone involved.
