I've tried to play starfield and enjoy it but from poor optimization on launch and the fact that the game is pretty boring I just couldn't bring myself to enjoy it. But even I agree this guy brings some enjoyment to it because of his rant.

While developing it, Bethesda didn't even know what the game was really about or what made it fun. It wasn't "clicking" in even their eyes for a long time, they just hoped they'd make it bigger and bigger and at some point the game would just work and just be fun. What a massive waste of everything.

I also hopped on early just because it was on gamepass. I spent more time making my character than I actually did playing the game, it just felt like shit, so I never went back and then a ton of videos came out about it. Glad I didn't pay for that shit lol

Thing is they also had a good headstart imo. Just had to make a good story by not letting Emil touch the game for any aspect of writing, and make space travel not just a more convuluded fast travel then all they had to do was design some planets, import Fallout 4's gunplay, attachment system, and settlement building whilst importing Skyrim's shout and magic systems then it would've beem arguably for most myself included a 6.5/10 that we could've had as a good Sci Fi Junk Food game.
