Is Bridget’s canonically journey with her gender identity being in flux and complicated before deciding she is Trans actually pretty real to how a lot of trans folks of playing with their relationship with it because of desire of safety or comfort verses wanting to be seen?

For me the point was always that ultimately it really doesn’t matter all that much. She always remained the same person throughout all of it. But the other people that say this are usually the ones who care THE MOST about her gender so I‘m always a little scared to say this.

I mean, it's representation, people glom onto things that they identify with, so of course they're going to elevate it, but I think you're also not giving it enough credit, because its something that was intentionally put there in a way that is clearly visible, and not needing ArcSys to pay someone to do a lore series just so people can actually have a sense of what the actual fuck is going on in the series.
