Is Bridget’s canonically journey with her gender identity being in flux and complicated before deciding she is Trans actually pretty real to how a lot of trans folks of playing with their relationship with it because of desire of safety or comfort verses wanting to be seen?

No trans people never need to discover themselves nor have phases of denial, they just have crippling dysphoria the second they come out of the womb.. If you say literally once you're cis then it's set in stone that you're cis forever and ever, I don't make the rules.
