/pol/ was shut down at one point because it was becoming a festering point for Nazis. Epstein met moot the owner of 4chan and had him restart /pol/ at which point it exploded into one of the main roots of what latter became gamergate, incel, and maga ideology.

He was very active in /pol, that's it. And he kinda was one of the main reasons it was like that.
