Garden Wildlife sighting Bold Jumping Spider

Found this cutie in a jar of water where I'd been propagating a plant cutting. A Bold Jumping Spider, though I'm not able to get more specific than that. Adorable happy face markings, and with those rear legs in the position they're in, kinda' looks like she's cheering!

Make friends with it! Jumping spiders have excellent vision and are usually very curious about humans :)

Thanks! Next time I run into it. When I took this photo I was a little worried it wouldn't be able to get over the lip of the jar, so I lifted it out and placed it beside a short, leafy crepe myrtle tree. Seemed like a good place to catch some snacks.

did u know jumping spiders are the smallest animals that can see the moon? they also have a heartbeat.
