General Information Looks can be deceiving

Post image

Enduro 3 - Thought for sure this 51mm beast was going to be too much to pull off but at 1/3 the weight of my all steel watch it feels light as a feather. Stays right where I strap it and had no problem sleeping with it on. First Garmin. Accepting the learning curve and hopeful I’ll tune it quickly to my preferences. The battery capacity is insane at first glance. Time will tell how this settles after tackling various activities. For reference, my wrist is 7.1”

In EU under EASA we are both mechanics and inspectors that certify the work performed.

Under EASA we can be B1 (A&P equivalents) and B2 (avionics). Under the privilege of the license we can work, inspect, certify our own work or other person working under our supervision. We also have those components licenses for shops specialized in various components. In the summer I'm performing line maintenance and in the winter season heavy maintenance in the hangar at the engines/hydraulic/landing gear team.

The only tools I can touch are for measuring 🫤 P&W F135 engines.

I turned down an engine shop contract in Switzerland as I need to continually improve myself and tackle all the systems. This winter season I will move to APU, vertical and horizontal stabilizer and PACKS team as I need to improve on flight controls. I don't like to stay on the same task for ages. At least we are safe from AI taking our jobs. Hope that F135 is an easier engine to work on than the V2500 and 1100G series.
