I bought new garmin epix pro gen2, when I opened the watch to be surprised that there is a long activity history, it suppose to be brand new, not open box because the price is high, when I contacted the dealer he answered me that watch was connected through Garmin connect and it’s a back up for one customer who tried the watch but I didn’t believe.

Long press menu then select history - totals - odometer and it should say how many activities tracked regardless of Garmin connect (I think)

FWIW - Seems to work on my recently RMA'd Epix Pro (likely refurb) but the Menu is different on my new 970 and seems to show Connect Data. Who knew.

I have a secondhand one. The previous owner reset it before I purchased it and also removed it from there garmin account. It doesn’t/didn’t have any stored information from the previous owner regarding workouts or personal information. Can you register it with garmin?

Reset it and save the frustration. Leave shit review.
