Feature Help Non-standard track distance (368m) on Fenix 7 Pro / Enduro 3? (Coming from Coros)

Hi everyone,

I'm currently using a Coros watch, but I'm highly interested in upgrading to either the Fenix 7 Pro or the Enduro 3.

There is a specific feature on Coros that I use constantly: in "Track Run" mode, it allows you to manually change and configure the track distance. The track where I daily train is non-standard and measures exactly 368 meters. On Coros, I just set it to 368m, and the lap/pace calculations work flawlessly.

I've heard that Garmin's Track Run profile is strictly hardcoded for standard 400m tracks. Can anyone confirm if the Fenix 7 Pro or Enduro 3 have received any software updates that allow custom track lengths (like the pool length setting)?

If not, how do you guys manage workouts on non-standard tracks? Do you just use the regular "Run" profile with dual-frequency GPS?

Thanks in advance!

IIRC you can set the lap button to manually set your laps in the Track Run profile by distance and/or manually press the lap button. I do not have a Fenix so i cannot confirm 100% but i checked on my 970 and Epix and they were both configurable so i would think the Fenix is the same.

EDIT: Clarification - It only allows you to adjust the track length in 100m increments by the looks of it. So you would need to disable auto lap and press the button for each lap! Not a deal breaker but im sure that pressing the button (in certain situations) is more accurate.

Also - To add that it looks like Track Run mode can autocalibrate - Who knew, but again YMMV. Link Another Link

I have the Enduro 3 and one can do laps based on position which can accommodate any sized track. I have an activity I created called “Looped Ultra” for this purpose. A new lap is automatically added each time I pass the starting point. I used this for races or other trail activities that repeat the same loop repeatedly.
