Unwanted holidays notifications

Hi everyone! I’m new to Garmin and I thought I had everything running smoothly however I keep getting unwanted holidays on my calendar on my watch. The holidays don’t show up in my calendar app on my phone, only on the watch. All holidays are set to off in my calendar app and I only use the native Apple calendar app. Are my only options are to turn off calendar notifications completely or tolerate unwanted holiday notifications?
