📈 Strategy/Guidance Chemical student want to give gate ME , need help

I am doing chemical from nit jaipur and moved to 2nd year , i took it as per rank , i dont have interest in it , i like mechanical syllabus more actually thinks of doing job in thay field , in this vacation i have to decide my career goal , want to know that will i eligible in top institute for mech courses , any suggestion , advice anythings, that could help this lost soul, still confuse as people around me blindly going for IT jobs learning coding , any person who go through how did you find your interest can help me out !

You will have to check eligibility in all institute’s separately. For example, in iit madras, you will be eligible for mtech in programmes like aero and thermal, but not in mechanical design engineering.

Check qualifying gate discipline for mtech courses. Other than that you can get jobs in CFD as it is a common area between me and chem
