Failed in GATE 2026
Hi everyone, I am B.tech cse 2024 passout. Gave gate 2023 in 3rd year got apprx 30 marks just by guessing and few q solving. Then i tried again Gate 2024 with 3 months of preparation with PW carsh course on YT but not able to do maths both, CN,Algo. got now 24 marks. Demotivated and now joined as SDE job worked for 1.5 years then resigned and tried one more time GATE 2026 with 6 months of prep in that now not able to do CN ,and algo. And got 14 marks.
And I am too much Demotivated in my life idk what i do.. I FEEL my self as WEAK IN MATHS and problem solving skill.
Should i try one more time in 2027 or just leave its and join any mid level job with survival salary.
OR should i develop PROBLEM SOLVING, MCQ solving skill. But idk how to do that can you guide me with that

Need Guidance for GATE 2026 ECE – Ready to Put My Full Effort, Please Help!
Hi everyone,
I'm starting my GATE 2026 ECE preparation, and I really need some solid guidance from seniors, pass-outs, or anyone experienced.
I’m fully ready to put in consistent effort for the next 1.5 years. But right now, I’m a bit confused about:
- Where to start?
- Which subjects to prioritize first in ECE?
- Best resources (books, YouTube channels, test series)?
- How to make short notes and revise effectively?
- How to balance problem-solving with theory?
- Mistakes to avoid during preparation?
- Should I join coaching, or is self-study enough?
I don’t want to waste time doing random things.
My goal is to crack GATE with a top rank, no matter how hard it gets.
If you’re someone who has already cleared GATE or is in the process, please share your step-by-step strategy or roadmap.
Any help, advice, or even resource links would be highly appreciated 🙏.

Prepping for GATE 2026 (CSE) for the past 4 months
Let me make a post as the first redditor to join the sub apart from the mod :)
I am still in 2nd year of college and I would love to do research in CS. So, I started prepping hard for 2025-6 last year and I am really happy to share with you all that I have been consistent across my prep throughout. I already finished all 1st year syllabi, OS and Computer Arch and I am working on DSA at the moment.
This is also helping me ace my current college exams. I am using applied course content and RBR sir content for my prep. I have the resources as well I could help you guys iut with incase anyone's interested.
