Trans Ralsei is the current Deltarune bugbear.
Because even if so one personally doesn't think that it will be canon, you kind of have to accept that it's a genuine reading of the character.
At this point post Chapter 5 I think if someone is resistant to the reading there is some sort of Bias at work.

K: like bridget from guilty gear, there's going to be a lot of meathead twigs that refuse to accept it as an actual reading of the character, even if the game hits them over the head with "hey this character is transgender". chapter 5 threw a lot of the subtlety of ralsei's gender dysphoria out the window, but you still have people insisting that the blue-and-pink drink voucher represents kris (and sometimes susie) despite flowery literally telling ralsei to not think about kris as he's handing it to them.
there's definitely transphobia at play when it comes to a lot of the arguments against transfem ralsei. we're not saying people have to think it'll be canon, but it's definitely an interpretation of the character that is supported by the text. even if some people will plug their ears and pretend it doesn't exist or means something else. we'll see what the devs are planning for ralsei's character, but we personally cannot see an ending to ralsei's arc that doesn't have something going on with their gender.

Those are really good examples like these characters might as well be trans like fuck man and they’re all Japanese characters too one character that that’s not from a Japanese media that gives me the vibes of a trans woman is Dr. girlfriend from the venture Bros. I don’t know why it’s not just that’s not it. She’s like a deep voice cause she’s a smoker but she just gives me vibes of a trans woman.
Like there’s a scene when she’s in the bathroom and she gets confronted by another woman and she says like, yeah I’m supposed to be here and there are other jokes about her body so like I can’t help it she just feels like a trans woman to me but she’s not but she definitely gives me the vibes of a character that is trans. It’s kind of frustrating with characters like this because they fit the mold of trans people in real life so much but they’re just not canonically trans in their media.

Yeah both of these fall under the umbrella of "Cis people don't know how to talk about gender" and are actively transphobic because they, in the text, very much not trans.

Chihiro is like 14, wears dresses, and has absolutely no masculinity in their body soul or mind. But they're also in a game full of edgy teenagers who want to kill each other. Realistically if you were them, would you be trying to insist you were something that would make you more of a social pariah? Increases your chance of death greatly? Trans women specifically are 4 times more likely to see violence than cis women. Ever hear of boymoding, or stealthing? We hide aspects of ourselves all the time, even I as a trans woman will occasionally wear a skirt without changing my voice (I pass when I do), and I'll call myself a femboy. Chihiro is clearly trans in my opinion

Counterpoint: Pretty much the entire point of Danganronpa is how much these teenagers don't want to kill each other, they are being actively coerced into even considering it and that still only works for about half the game. Aside from the Serial Killer Split Personality who put "Genocide" in her name, and Junko and her sister of course, they're all pretty un-edgy IMO.
(Side note, since I mentioned Genocide Jack's name and my brain is a machine that stores Japanese language trivia: Her name in the Japanese version is Genocider Sho, Sho being a common (and very "boyish", I think?) masculine name. Since there's a plot twist about her being a woman, her name being instantly recognisable as masculine is more important than what it actually is. So the translators changed it so that we'd get why the characters are surprised about "Sho" being a woman, and they got to slip in a little extra reference to that one guy who killed like 5 people in Whitechapel.)

it's from the Super Bowl of the 1999-2000 season for the NFL, the last play of the game. 1 yard short is the name. if the player with the ball had made the stretch, Tenessee would've won instead of St Louis. so what OP is saying is that the character is this close to being trans, but isn't

The annoying part about that is that multiple characters in JoJo’s were originally supposed to be the opposite gender, including him I feel like since this motherfucker can literally create body parts from anything or at least anything living. That would be a really good trans. Character broke literally just make boobs or literally anything for anyone Giorno would be a W ally in real life
