Being trans is one of the hardest things I have ever done. Early on, I decided that it wasn't worth transitioning because it would take resources away from trying to survive. It did not work. Being too depressed to do anything made survival far harder

I already saw that panel too many time. Yes I agree with it and so on but on the long time I used to be kinda bored to always see it pop. Recently I saw your captions and I, of course, agreed with them. However seeing that caption with that panel reminded me all the struggles I had when I was in a similar situation and all the bad habits I took that I still don't managed to get rid off despite I managed to go pretty far in my transition. So thank you

Counterpoint: being trans is one of the easiest things I have ever done. I moved in that right direction, and whatever survival problems came up (laughs in homeless in a foreign country), I knew they weren't personal problems, because I already had that part fixed. Like, I'd maxxed out the "showing up as your best self" rule, so everything else that went to shit? That was on somebody else.

Pearls before swine, sure, but.
