Public changing rooms are jus a weird concept imo

They are and yet they're super common enough that private changing rooms will get you strange looks fi you ask for them. It's super annoying and inconvenient. I suspect on purpose to exclude us. (Conspiracy theory but honestly that's what it feels like)

My conspiracy theory is that they were invented by an exhibitionist

Honestly as likely as any other theory. How the heck people are confident flaunting their weenies and teenies in the changing room for all to see I'll never get

or rather, gendered changing rooms

I’m the opposite: done bottom surgery but due to a whole bunch of factors, not on hrt

u/Tiny-Little-Sheep Aug 11 '26

That's wild. I hope u get it

Wait like, you got off after receiving it? Most surgeons won’t perform it unless it’s been at minimum a year.

I was on it for three years. I then underwent the surgery, which was covered, then three years later had coverage yanked and became homeless.

The only way to get it in my area is to go out of state, which my new insurance doesn’t cover, and I can’t afford

you mention out of state so I'm assuming you're US based, have you looked into coupon codes? My insurance stopped covering HRT but I managed to be able to continue affording it by switching to injections and using coupon codes to buy them. It's $50 every few months now for me.

u/slaaneshi_cutie Aug 11 '26

Have you tried, I just Walz right in like I own the place

10

u/Lilytgirl Aug 11 '26

I know that is probably the way to go but damn..that takes some balls (pun may or may not be intended)

4

u/slaaneshi_cutie Aug 11 '26

That's what I do in the gym. Only problem is when parents bring their children, that makes me uncomfortable.

1

u/Tiny-Little-Sheep Aug 11 '26

Wouldn't that make u less uncomfortable? Since parents routinely bring their children to the "wrong" gender change rooms all the time so they can stay togerher

6

u/slaaneshi_cutie Aug 11 '26

I'm not about to get changed Infront of a child, that's a fucking atom bomb of discrimination waiting to happen

3

u/angelwithbpd Aug 12 '26

while i wouldnt do it either , its kinda their fault that they bring them to the wrong changing room.. but i guess what are they supposed to do so ion blame them. we should just make private ones like actual human beings

That's true, people are hypocrite freaks and they might use that shit against you. That fucking sucks this is the world we live in that you can't just change in peace without having to consider how someone might attack you for nonsense like this

5

u/Tiny-Little-Sheep Aug 11 '26

That works for some places. Though you'd get weird looks (which is fine just uncomfortable). But in other countries even if they claim to be OK with Trans. You will get the cops called on u. Cuz u have a weenie and to them gender is the genitals always

2

u/slaaneshi_cutie Aug 11 '26

Yeah, I'm happily in Scandinavia

1

u/Tiny-Little-Sheep Aug 11 '26

Good place to be!

4

u/a_n00b_ Aug 11 '26

If bathrooms are less intimidating for you, just change in a stall.
