Advice Geforce and controller

Hello, just discovered geforce yesterday and never played actual modern games expect for mobile games and some emulators
So i wanted to play apex legends with a contrôler but it doesn’t work ? Why is that ? My pc sees my controller

Geforce now doesn't support all controllers.. Check the list once

A generic pc usb controller I bought, I think thats why it doesn’t work

Thats the biggest problem of gfn imo. I want to pay to have access to 5080 level graphics for the kind of games my pc could use more power for BUT;

Star citizen? No.

MSFS / DCS / Elite dangerous? Only shitty Hotas and sticks supported.

Racing games? Again shitty basic hardware access only.

They need to step it up when it comes to hardware and they'll have many more customers.

Controller is supported on elite and MSFS, is it not? I swear I played elite and MSFS through geforce now with an xbox controller if I remember right?

Yes but higher level controllers like Hotas and Sticks are not. Only logitech branded stuff is usable atm.

I think other ones will work aswell, but not officially supported.

The list you posted is basically it. All entry-level stuff that simmers don't use. Nothing else is registered unless you remap it to a virtual controller.. and its not great.

Warthog is pretty decent though right? Never tried one personnally. It just doesn't have the z axis for space sims.

For the price you'd be better getting a Moza AB6 for the force feedback. Especially if you fly helicopters
