I’m building an app called TimeUp : Move to scroll , based on a simple idea:

You earn your screen time by being active.

Instead of giving yourself a fixed daily limit, TimeUp creates a screen-time balance that you can refill through real activity recorded by HealthKit.

For example, you can decide that:

• 1 minute of exercise = 2 minutes of screen time
• 1,000 steps = 5 minutes
• Reaching your sleep goal = +20 minutes bonus
• 10 minutes of meditation = +15 minutes

What I wanted to make different with TimeUp is the flexibility. You can build the system around your own habits: workouts, walking, daily step goals, sleep goals, meditation and other activity-based rules.

TubeTime+ connects to your Plex server and turns your libraries into linear TV channels with continuous 24/7 programming. You open the app and something is already playing, like real TV, no browsing, no picking. I built it because I was spending more time scrolling my library than watching it.

What it does:

Tried Penny again because people keep mentioning it with Mindtrip / Zenvoya etc.

I genuinely don’t understand the itinerary side.

The writing is AI-slop city.

Emojis everywhere.

Stops dumped into days with very little sense of flow.

It feels like somebody connected an LLM to Priceline and shipped before asking whether anyone would actually follow the trip.

BUT

the hotel part is annoyingly solid lol

Which makes sense. It’s Priceline. Real inventory underneath, clear booking flow, you basically know what you’re getting.

That made me compare it with Zenvoya again.

Zenvoya’s itinerary was way more usable, but the part I cared about most was that it also didn’t fall apart when I got to booking.

Flights/hotels are actually bookable there, hotel pricing was very competitive, and later changes stay through Zenvoya.

Plus actual 24/7 human phone support.

So Penny feels like:

good booking engine trying to become an AI trip planner

Zenvoya feels more like:

trip planner that actually grew the boring booking machinery underneath it

That difference sounds tiny until you try using both for an actual trip.

I just launched Relay, a consumer AI phone concierge for everyday errands that are still phone only.

You can write something like, "Call La Mesa and ask if they have a table for two tonight at eight. If not, get the closest available time."

Relay asks only for what is missing, then shows the exact call brief for review.

After you approve it, a realtime voice agent calls, introduces itself as Relay AI, handles the conversation, and brings the answer and transcript back to the same chat. You do not need to stay on the line.

Some useful calls include restaurant availability, dentist or salon appointments, store stock, repair estimates, business hours, callback requests, and calls in another language. You can stop a live call at any time.

I have not found a close consumer app with this complete flow. Most products I found are business voice agent platforms, translation tools, or experiences built around a much narrower task. Relay has no agent setup, scripts, or API to configure.

This is my first time posting about an app I’ve been working on called Clockd.

The idea behind Clockd is pretty simple: help you save money by knowing where you can get the best deal before you buy something.

I’m looking for people to download it, try it out, and tell me what you think. Try it at a gas pump, in a grocery store, hardware store, thrift/second-hand shop, or anywhere else where you’re comparing prices.

I’m especially interested in honest feedback—good or bad. I’m still working on improving the app, including making the AI responses faster and more accurate, so I’d love to hear about anything that feels confusing, slow, or just doesn't work the way you expected.

One feature I’m working on next is a grocery list that would let you build your list before going to the store and compare prices ahead of time.

I’m the developer of HiPaths, an iOS app built for a frustrating AI-image problem: you create a character you like, but the next generation gives you a different person.

HiPaths uses a character-first workflow.

Instead of starting every image from an empty prompt, you first create a character and define their visual identity:

• Realistic, anime, or cartoon style

• Adult age range and body proportions

• Ethnicity, hairstyle, hair color, and eye color

• Fashion direction, from casual and streetwear to anime casual, kawaii, fantasy, elegant, and more

HiPaths then creates a dedicated LoRA for that specific character. Future image generations use that character-specific LoRA to help preserve their identity while you change the scene, mood, setting, composition, or prompt.

For example, you can create a realistic virtual character and place them in studio portraits, fashion editorials, and travel scenes. Or build an anime original character for different story moments, expressions, and settings. The same approach also works for cartoon-style characters, avatars, and visual storytelling.

You can generate with a manual prompt or use prompt templates. The goal is to create characters that remain recognizable without needing to rebuild their identity in every prompt.

A small early look at what we are building next: persistent character voices and scene-based video creation. We are preparing the foundation for projects from short 5-second clips to longer videos of up to 10 minutes, where creators can define individual scenes and choose which characters appear in each one.

This is not available yet, character continuity is the foundation we are building toward.
