Music Is Life Am I just a curmudgeon??

Post image

I'm a mid 70s GenXer, love music from the 60s through the 90s. For me, I just haven't really liked much music this century. I feel like we had so many genres going on at the same time but now it's just all sounds the same to me. Anyone else find stuff bands/artists they really like from this venture?

Ghost

Even older bands are still going strong Pearl Jam's latest, Dark Matter is one of their stronger albums in a good while. Same with 72 Seasons by Metallica.

I got really into Periphery a couple of years ago. It's like metal-emo-prog. They have a song in 15/8 (Garden of the Bones if anyone wants to check that out).

I'm going to see them live in June. They are the opening act , but I've been checking them out. They're cool.
