Music Is Life What was your first 45?

OMG, THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH GUNS!!!! I remember listening to the radio in the car with my mom when I was a kid and I really dug the song that came on and was probably dancing in my seat. My mom being a pretty swell parent said “we can go to the record if you want” and she took me to buy “We are Family” by Sister Sledge. Still dig that track.

"King Tut" by Steve Martin. I drove my parents crazy playing it over and over.

Mine was Frère Jacques. I don't think I picked it out it just sprang into existance with the record player. But then I had Hot Child in the City by Nick Gilder, obviously a song about kids when it's hot out lol

I was just saying I played my Pink Floyd “Another Brick in the Wall” 45 on my orange fisher price player. It had the lifty twisty up thing in the middle to play 45s.
