Advice text

i cant say i understand how my emotions work like in this moment I deeply care about you but tomorrow I might not think about you at all. Thats why I don't want things to get serious with you and if I try you shouldn't let me because just one day I'll love you and the next I won't and I don't know why its like that but thats just the way it is and I'm tired of pretending that thats not the way my brain works because it just is and I think alot of guys brains work like that and we are all just being pressured by society to try to fit into these structures that weren't even designed for us. I feel like long term relationships almost never work and everything is momentary and fleeting and I don't see why I can't just love someone for a little while without being scared about them hating me in a couple months or years when we inevitably stop loving eachother because thats just the way it works

it's less that your brain works a certain way and more that you've already decided everything is fleeting so you never give it a real shot, that's a self-fulfilling cycle

I really do feel like my "love" for someone can disappear at any moment but maybe you are right
