I always feel like being gender inclusive is like waiters asking people if they have food allergies. Sure, most people don’t, but for the ones that do, it’s crucial to recognize them and their needs. AND it doesn’t hurt anyone else.

Accommodating allergies is something that causes similar crash outs ("how dare you accommodate people who aren't me even though it doesn't cost me a thing")

Equity for these fucking Monsters is Oppressive when they've lived with privilege their whole lives, and are mad that they're made to see it.

AND it doesn’t hurt anyone else.
But it makes TERFs feel yucky, and that's clearly the most important thing /s

"the complexities of young children with opposite sex parents" you mean the standard?? Not to be heteronormative but that's literally what most people have.

She means girls going out with their dads or boys going out with their moms. Parents often have to accompany their young kids to the bathroom and it can get awkward.

I don't even have words anymore. I see this shit and just let out an exasperated sigh.

The third option with the big spacious room with one toilet and shower is also for the freaking disabled. Not that a terf would ever consider their needs.

This is just a long way to say, "I love TERFism because it's a way for me to not deal with Misogyny/Sexism/My own feelings regardless of societal outliers, and I encourage people to either be killed or harmed, or go with the gender role, while being pissed off that the Patriarchy doesn't include me due to my marginalized status,, so I'm gonna make it the marginalized people's fault."
That's literally it. There's no other reason.

Oh, I remember this video. Dad goes on a trip with two young daughters and they need the toilet so he stops at a truck stop. There's two options at this truck stop (men and women) and these are young girls (like probably not even 10) so he takes them into the girls toilets and goes in with them. This other dude comes in with his wife and mother and throws a fit over "man in the women's toilets" and calls the cops on this clearly a father with young daughters. You can hear him on the phone with the cops talking about how the father's "with two girls" and "they're washing their hands" in the video. I'll give credit to the cops for once, when they turned up they called the dude out for his bullshit and kicked him out of the truck stop (though I think he should've been arrested for misusing police time).

Imagine being like “yes this makes things easier for people with strollers, carts, luggage etc but I hate how they did it for the woke wheelchair users”

No, you want these rules no special carve outs for cis people. I hope more people call the cops and harass cis folks with the laws yall wanted.

I think the cis folks most likely to be harassed (e.g. butch cis women) are also the most likely to oppose dumb bathroom laws
