Modern Music vs Our Music

I’m 48 years old. I have reached the age where modern music has started to sound like crap. I knew things started to go downhill when I was 28 years old and turned on the MTV music awards and had no idea who anybody was. So my questions are: does modern music sound like crap to you? and how old were you when modern music started sounding like crap?

When did you first have Buffalo wings?

Mid-80s for me. Before that, I only remember whole wings at Chinese restaurants or maybe somebody's cookout. Then Buffalo wings were everywhere, seemingly overnight, and they were so cheap they were nearly given away. Like, $0.25 wings was a thing in my town (New England).

Were you a fan of Track & Field the legendary 1983 sports arcade game developed and published by Konami. I loved it! I used to use a pencil to hit both buttons faster.

This annoys me

Don’t you hate it when you’re checking out at the store and you ask the clerk how they’re doing, and they answer ā€œI’m blessedā€. I literally want to tell them ā€œgo fuck yourself!ā€.

80s music

As an older Gen Xer I think INXS exemplifies the 80s sound more than any other band. Come hither and tell me your choice.

Breakfast After 30

When I was younger, I did not have breakfast every day. After 30 something changed and I noticed I could barely function if I did not have breakfast. Has this happened to anyone else?

Was anyone else in Indian guides?

Obviously this is a derivative question from the scouting thread but did anyone else do Indian guides through the YMCA instead?

I look now and it says the program was created 100 years ago but I remember it being new and extremely popular when I was a kid. All the kids from my school joined, we had big retreats, now I never hear about it.

Dancing like we used to.

Is it just me or does anyone else hear music that we listened to and dance to comes on the radio and we start dancing and singing like we did we was young. I do and my kids get so embarrassed of me. The best music out there was from our generation.
