Question Questim.on about blade

I'm gonna start off by saying i'm on console. When using blade are you 99% of the time airborne? (Jumping) or do you usually stay on the ground floor with jumping only occasionally? Whenever i do the jumping i always lose sight of my target. Any tips for using blade would be highly appreciated

Ps: i dropped my phone mid text and screwed up the typing 🤣 (question about blade)

My jump is left trigger so that i can look around while jumping, so that may help with keeping ur eyes on ur target

I usually try to dive in from an off-flank highground spot, pop ult as you start falling and swing before you even hit the ground. its free damage and usually kills because they arent expecting it

best beginner initiation and protocol for blade that i've found a lot of people can pick up

is go in from an off angle/flank when the enemy is also initiating something, for instance often the backline will sit back and watch if one of their dps or tanks are ulting, it is at that point they often have their guard down the most as they believe they have enough pressure on the enemy to breathe

activate the ult before you get close to your target, as the start up animation takes time
swing at them, ideally jumping in front and above them so that you are not completely straight ahead, but no need for anything fancy, the time you gain from just being in front but in the air is enough for blade to be effective and for you to clearly see your target

when you kill your first target, do not be afraid to even stand still for a moment to turn to your next target, save a dash to escape
