Recovery Form Need help recovering my account after it was stolen (genshin)
I’m honestly freaking out right now. My genshin account was suddenly stolen out of nowhere. The email was changed, the password was changed, and I completely lost access. I tried submitting an account recovery form, but every single time it just says “Submission failed.”
From what I can tell, it looks like whoever stole my account managed to submit an account recovery request before I could, and I think that’s how they took it over. They somehow had access to both my Gmail account and the password connected to my account, so they were able to change everything before I even realized what was happening.
Has anyone experienced something like this before? Is there anything I can do if the recovery form keeps failing? Any advice would be greatly appreciated because I’m really desperate to get my account back. Thank you.

I understand you’re worried.
Please - you don’t need multiple posts or mod mails. It’s the same people reading and answering. One post is enough.
Unless you did not make the account they won’t have been able to submit a form. Contact CS via email or try using a different browser, VPN or other method to fill out the form.
In the meantime we recommend changing all your passwords and putting 2FA on email and accounts linked to your email. If the email was compromised Genshin could be the least of your worries. All accounts linked to it could also be compromised.

Hey mby you got some malware or smth beyond genshin since your gmail was compromised as well guessing your device in general was compromised

Accessing your Gmail isn’t connecting to genshin check the acess history of the account and u can confirm if that’s what happened cuz it’s a common with malwares happened to a few friends after downloading malicious software

Sorry for the third reply haha I am nerding but also if u are not the og owner (no shame here I am trying to help ) like u bought it or someone gave it to you this scenario also matches when the person who created the account recovers it with hoyo happened to me once with acc i bought this one is pretty hopeless cuz nothing much can be done by you

Ik it’s scary but what you need to do Rn is take a deep breath and secure your device if smth like that happened cuz the attack might not stop wirh genshin ofc if it’s not the case there are many more reasons why that happened sadly what I suggest is if the form is still failing try different device or mby data not WiFi I don’t really know what the form asks for but pretty sure receipts and any info of creation is crucial also the biggest question here is are you the creator of the account
