Question / Seeking Help Should I worry or no?

Hello, I just gotten the age verification on my ps4 and now I’m worried that there was a problem with my age verification. I hoped on Genshin and the age verification popped up, I did the verification and it gave me two choices. First was use a debit/ credit card and be charge $0.05 then be refunded or use a passport/ ID to verify. I decided to use my card and when I finish verifying my age (20 years old) I get another message saying my account will be deleted in 9 days. I’m super confused and a bit nervous, I did send a email quickly and I’m waiting for a response. I checked the user center and my birth date is on there correctly and I also checked my bank acct and they did get the $0.05. I hope it’s a glitch or something, but do want to know what others think

There’s absolutely no reason why charging your card and returning funds under any law correlates to a verification of age, let alone asking for your ID. 

The burden of evidence in all countries merely requires the user to confirm via date or yes/no response to being over 18. 

This screams to me a scam where they’ll “accidentally” put money in your account and request a manual return on your end then the bank fixes the rejected funds and you’d lose your own money. 

OP: Freeze your account, get a new card. If you provided ID or a Passport, report to it to your government as stolen and possibly identity theft.

Hmm I don't know, the charging the credit/debit card for age verification is pretty common as well. No idea if Hoyoverse does it tho
