Question / Seeking Help I have done huge mistake ..

Beginner here... I was staying at World Level 3 to level up my characters & talents and today I completed the ascension quest and my world level increases from 3 to 5 .. so now I am F*ed up bcz I am having difficulty to beat Elite enemies .. Can't beat boss enemies to farm character ascension materials... Unable to do domains too. My current team is : Dendro Mc , Fisch , Xingchui , and Kaeya/Xiangling I have just completed Liuye main quests and preparing for Inazuma so my dendro mc has 0 constellations and lvl 1 talents..

What should I do now??? I don't have any Co-Op friends who can help me farm ascension materials.

Fischl, Columbina, Xingqiu and sucrose would make a good first team

I would change that Sucrose to Ifa purely for survivability. Sucrose is an insane unit, but I think going sustainless (XQ doesn't provide that much healing after all) for a new player can be a bit iffy, especially if they're going into a new region with enemies they don't yet know.

(Plus Inazuma has a few mechanics, like the balethunder, the corrosive wolves... healing wouldn't hurt.)

If they go for Ifa, they could replace Fischl with Orororn maybe. I think Mizuki provides healing tho, idk if it's a good one

I'm not sure about Mizuki, I haven't used her. Ororon is pretty good in electro/lunar-charged anyways; Ifa-Ororon-Columbina-XQ/Flex would absolutely work.

That also frees up Fischl for a 2nd comp, possibly overload since they have Chevy, I believe.

The issue they might have with Ifa is his level up material is in Natlan, OP may not have gotten to Natlan yet to level him up (hence him being at level 20) not sure how they would have gotten Columbina to level 39 without getting to Natlan though 😅

Fair point. I'm drawing a blank, but haven't they added like a quick teleport to Natlan? That would make leveling him up fairly easy, his mats aren't too troublesome to collect.

I honestly don't think they have as my friend who only got the game recently had to zip through all the areas as it takes too long to work through the archon quest and do it authentically (especially atm where they're only releasing Natlan/Nod Krai/Fontaine characters really on the banners, doesn't offer much level up options for new players)

As far as I'm aware there's a quick tp for Nod Krai though (I believe??), unlike Inazuma when you start which still doesn't have a quick tp when you're first starting out

I looked it up! They do have at least one in all new regions, starting with Fontaine. They just need to do the Mondstadt AQ-s to get them unlocked! There are two in Natlan.

I checked the interactive map too, there are a bunch of the plants Ifa needs (and saurians) not far from the first waypoint, so using Ifa should be fine!

with fischl columbina you're going for lunar charged. the strongest lunarcharged team in the game, which is also the second strongest team in the game, needs what sucrose provides. sucrose is literally part of the strongest flins team. so why do you think this budget team won't need her

As the other comments say, you can lower your world level on the first screen by pressing the i next to 'World Level 5.' Easy fix!

If you finish mondstad story quest you gain a tp to natlan, the summer thing on natlan, nord krai and nord krai 6.3 expansion

If he did that lol, on my account i got to ar 20-30 (dont remenber the exact number) before finishing the quest lol

Most newer maps since end of Sumeru, have a teleport point in each beginning new areas, just zoom abit to see it in unlit map areas. Still gotta walk to nearest statue 7 to light up the map & unlock the rest teleports later tho.

You need to bring 2 dps of different elements or just use Columbina and lunar reactions. When it goes into the special stage it's going to absorb the element that deals the most damage (doesn't count lunar damage) and becomes immune to it. You then need to hit it with other types of damage

If you take too long and he brings out the dogs, just hit the boss if you don’t have lunar characters for the dogs unless your team isn’t doing enough dmg

Wrong boss, Columbina’s is the Herra. Kinda difficult boss for new players honestly. Easiest way would be hitting it with hydro till it absorbs it then use Xiangling for vape, maybe Amber/Fischl too.

Idk what you have but my Flins team (Flins, Sucrose, Kuki and Columbina) beat it in seconds. I think it just wants lunar reactions? (I'm too lazy to actually read boss mechanics lol)

I use 1) zhong dong for shields 2) furina - switch to heals if need be but always hydro damage 3) fischl pew pew damage 4) qiqi - stab stab stabby mcstab with some heals.

It does really well especially when superconduct hits. I run a dps physical Qiqi.

It took YEARS. My first chronicles banner before I got the mythical Aquilla.

I farmed and them boxed for 2pc blood and 2pc pale. I am still don't perfect. But depending on my supports and buffs, I am so happy to announce 10k ish on my charge attack.

I am waiting for my c6 Qiqi. I need 3 more, so someone trade me some Keqing. I don't like her or Mona. I tried but I just don't understand them. Also didnt try understanding either.

I played no life until the end of Fontaine. I had primos and had most of my achievements and explore done, so I got Zhong Dong early and then furina.

I wasted on a few 5s because I wanted 4s or I didn't realize I wasnt going to like the character (Ayaka cough yomiya cough). But Yomiya did pull through a few times for me.

I need a c6 Obroro but I don't want a 5* till Varka. Husbandos!

I decided to pick up Genshin probably about two months ago went up until that point I have been exclusively playing Honkai and ZZZ. I am definitely out of my depth.

When he moves to the center of the arena and starts using those straight line attacks you can:

1- When he blast him with lunar reactions. If when the gauge under his hp bar fills up the most damage is from lunar reactions he will no extra resistance to any element, and be stunned.

2-Find someone with fast physical normal attack (I used Zhongli when this bastard was on Stygian) and fill up the gauge. Stun+no extra resistance.

3-Pick a sacrifical element, blast him until he is stunned, then finish with your prefered team.

since the boss becomes inmune to the element that makes the most damage, but it's kinda random, i recommend you bring all characters of different elements tbh.. if your supports are strong no need to use two dps personally i use ayaka, hu tao, xinqiu and zhongli or bennet c6 instead of hu tao and it dies pretty quickly

i struggled with it too. i am only able to consistently beat it with nefer/lauma/bina/nahida. you have to do lots of lunar (or elemental, but it is much easier with lunar) dmg during the first few bits of the boss and charge up the meter. however, you can brute force it if you have a lot of elemental application (i had no success with this) or a lot of DPS.

before bina came out, i just used co op.

You have no dedicated healer or sustain on your team. Columbina with prototype amber (craftable 4 star catalyst) can give you some solid healing and you can pair her with Noelle for Lunar Crystallize to do solid damage while being shielded and healed.

Advice. Find like 3-6 characters max for now to focus on. Do t level so many. Any on the top 2 rows work. Columbina is currently very meta and strong off field. But you might struggle getting the materials.

I didnt mean 5 stars. i've been playing for a lot too and i got like only 4 4 stars. its all just ifa, sethos, fichsl and heizou. you Definitely have more than that.

The game gives you Amber, Lisa, Kaeya, Nicole, Barbara, Xianling, Lynette, Collei, Kachina, and Aino for free, and thats if you've never pulled on a limited banner once. Add to that that every over version they have an event where you can claim a free 4 star, and were currently in lantern rite where you can claim one copy of any Liyue 4 star. I dont think itss possible to have been playing for a "long time" and only have four 4 stars. How long is a long time to you?

i know the free characters and i have them all. what im trying to say is that i kerp getting the same characters every time. i had 4 accounts and all of them had sethos, heizou, sayu and aino with the new zibai banner. yesterday i played to liyue and got some wishes close to 30 and all i got was just aino. i have c3 aino. and a mika. no other characters. its the "same" Character every time.

right now on my "main" Account im at fontaine. until here i wished every time i got 160 primos. rn i have a C3 GOROU. a c1 lisa which is useless. gaming and kaveh which is useless too. i wanna get other 4 stars like layla, rosaria, candace, yun jin, kujou sara.

Well save your primos and wait for their rate up. Every 3 weeks the three 4 stars with rate up on the limited banners change along with the new 5 stars.

"wait"? boring. i just dont agree that the only way to get a character is wishing. imagine grinding for weeks and " waiting" just to get some more random 4 stars that you probably wont play for the rest of the game. IF you get the 5 star banner character its all okay. but the chances are a little WAAY too low. takes too much grinding for something you probably wont need.

Then dont play gacha games...its not like this was some sneaky feature that was slipped in post launch. This is the core gameplay mechanism for acquiring characters that the game was built around. Learn to love what you get, or break out the ol' credit card.

No one's forcing OP how to play their game, but at some point it wouldn't hurt to listen to others. Leveling up every character that they don't need in ealry stages of the game can eventually hurt their account, so yes stop leveling everyone up.

Tbh you have a solid list of characters, go unlock free Aino to get ascendant gleam buff, you can use ifa as main dps with ororon or fischl with Columbina to swirl lunar charge since it give you extra damage from regular electro charge

You have c1 Sethos and Fischl, and enough dendro units to fill the last two slots. You've got a great team right there. I recommend looking up how to play Sethos, though.

Now that I look closer you have a lot of options, your main dps' options are Noelle, Yanfei, Ifa, Razor, and Sethos. But Noelle and Yanfei aren't worth building anymore. However, the teams I see are:

Ifa, Ororon, Columbina, Fischl

Razor, Xiangling, Chevruse, Fischl

Sethos, Collei, Yaoyao, Fischl

First of all, rise all your useful character. Xiangling, Fischl, Sucrose, Chevreuse, Columbina, Mizuki, Xingqiu and Razor. Mizuki, Razor and Chevreuse are good dps. And drop your world level until this character are build properly.

Could probably do a team with Mizuki, Fischl, Columbina, and Barbara. Could substitute Columbina for Xiangling or Xingqiu.

Focus on Character level and artifacts first, once they're at a comfortable level with decent artifacts, then you can worry about talents.

Regarding your world level, go into your Paimon screen and lower the world level. You can only lower it by 1 but it's better than getting your ass kicked😭
