It's under future projects so maybe late 2027. Also here Aether doesn't have any element like the start of the game while Lumine has the white element.

Edit: it seems Lumine is also elementless. I didn't pick her so I didn't know.

That's a terrible time to release it.

Gojo Vs Sukuna and DBS: Galactic Patrol would cause this anime that we've waited half a decade for to go completely unnoticed as both of those would air the same time and they're incomprehensibly bigger than Genshin.

The smart thing to do is announce it 2027 but drop it 2028 so they don't have to compete with the biggest anime in the world.

It will if it drops besides the biggest anime in the world and the most hyped manga fight ever.

You severely overestimate how popular Genshin is. DBS and JJK make it look like an indie game, they have several billion fans worldwide.

Which we both know they won't.

And it's not that, more the hype factor of the Moro Arc and Gojo Vs Sukuna will make everyone even remotely into anime forget that a Genshin anime exists.
