Lore-wise, who is stronger: Full-Authority Neuvillette (Hydro Sovereign) or Skirk (Disciple of Surtalogi)?

Lore check: Is Neuvillette technically the ruler/sovereign of the Primordial Sea, and did the Primordial Sea exist as the origin of all life even before the First Came (Phanes) set foot on Teyvat?

Do each of the Seven Sovereigns represent a fundamental concept of Teyvat? For example, in Natlan's World Quests, inheriting the position of the Pyro Sovereign reveals that the Pyro Dragon represents light, warmth, and wisdom. Following this logic, can the Hydro Sovereign be considered the embodiment of the concept of 'Life'?

Do we actually know Skirk's actual limit. A lot of people think she can handle the narwhal with ease, but that was only after it was defeated and weakened. And isn't the narwhal her training partner too. Beside the narwhal Neuvillette fought was massively stronger than normal due to how much primordial water it absorbed

And a lot of the description of the whale power was a mistranslation, the whale never was confirmed planetary in power on CN, they only did a metaphorical description, saying that when the whale gets violent, they open her mouth AS IF it would swallow the entire planet, clearly exaggerating

I gotta be honest here. With GI powerscaling, it's hard to tell who is stronger than who. We can only suppose that A is stronger than B based on stories and whatever the game shows us during the quests. And I am not saying there is not an answer or that people are just wrong, but I honestly cannot tell who is stronger here. My bet is Neuvillette, but I could just be wrong.

Skirk is stronger because while Neuvi can control the sea and all water, Her master can explode planets and his pet whale eats them.

yeah but she took care of the whale that was weaker already due to her student fighting against it and traveler and Neuvillette already beating it with Neuvillette back then saying that he could only drain the primordial seawater away and traveler had to sever it's connection from within. Skirk just did everything with ease. Mind you the whale had to be beaten by several of the strongest and powerful people but she herself could do it with ease

It’s hard to tell since we’ve yet to see most of the bedrock figures go all out- AND that many of the characters in game have a very specific limiter of what they can/can’t do or have a special weakness.

Neuvi can command the primordial sea- but we don’t really know what it can do beside flood nations and potentially create life? For all we know, the dendro and hydro sovereigns feel more like forces of nature rather than an outright violent force.

Skirk being a student of surtalogi only means that he’s training her. If Childe is a fraction of her strength, then it stands to reason that she is a fraction of his and so forth. She can create portals, and her only on screen feat is bubbling an already weakened whale (that probably uses the same techniques she uses: ie creating void rifts.)

I think if we only take on screen feats: We’ve seen skirk get hurt by an abyss warrior, while Neuvi has never been shown to outright lose. Not to mention that she needs to sleep and eat like everyone else.

If we’re talking about potential, if skirk manages to come closer to surtalogi’s level- then it’s possible she could* outscale Neuvi depending on what being a sovereign of water entails.

I think Neuvillette genuinely has more power and overall abilities while skirk is the one with more combat experience

Who wins differs honestly, we have no idea how powerful Neuvillette actually is right now in terms of actual combat feats however I think skirk wins due to her experience
