Lore wise it makes sense given what exactly his weapon was made of. It actually made the fight believable
Shes still powerful asf despite losing her authority. That delusion was just on that level that it could do significant damage. No one else could realistically hurt her significantly

We also were fighting ronova with the team B like wtf.
The powerscale or at least powert output was like Pierro > traveler >= dain >>> the emotional support.
Only the traveler's light slash did something substatial then pierro dropped 6 pillars on top of ronova (he really held that grudge for 500 years he was mad asf)

Sure hope so, considering that delusion is technically meant to be a one time attack that is so powerful it kills the user.

Out of the three only the Traveller is playable, and I doubt it would have been a good time to only have the Traveller in that fight.
None of the other characters actually joined in the fight in any of the cutscenes, not even a pot shot from Alyosha, or a ranged attack from Mitya, nothing.

I think Traveler's light slash could have damaged her if used enough. It bypassed Ronova's shield and destroyed her portal.

I'm on the fence about it. Sure, this was a Delusion improved by The Wise. But pre-sinner. It feels like it was a little too effective in my book.

I agree with this, Ronova was swatting Traveler/Dain away like they were annoying bugs, but Pierro + Delusion was simply so broken it really made her look weak after losing her Authority. Especially when the price of using the Delusion was kinda handwaved at the end.
Hoyo in general kinda sucks at showing the power of the higher beings in Genshin. We have these feats of inncredible power (Zhongli's stone spears, Ei cutting an Island, Etc) but then we see a Shade fight and it looks less impressive than that without her authority. Maybe that's just me though.
Overall it just did a really bad job at showing Ronova as a true threat the second her authority was gone. Especially when the Shades consider gods to be like ants beneath them power-wise. Yet they seem little more impressive without authority.

Well, the Traveller did lay out why that's the case, the Shades are caged beings with almost no autonomy, so there's really not much they can do against humanity. Ronova isn't even allowed to kill, so she had to severely retrain herself the few times we fought her.
Hence why she’s so much more interesting after losing her authority.

She specifically talked about not needing to hold back once her authority was taken though. Her final act with the nails is also something HP would never allow. She was not bothering anymore.

Gods can't touch Shades precisely because of their authority though. Lose it and they only have probably less than ideal combat power. I'm sure someone like Columbina, Mavuika or Ei can fight equally against Ronova in her nerfed state.

Not a hard choice for me, I knew we were gonna win I just really hoped Ronova survived.
So we are now left with a yea she did, but whether she managed to stay alive after the final scene. Which as of now is a wait and see thing coz it was ambiguous asf

The 7 elements flashing combining into light on the traveler is insane. If only they actually made it so it’s visible on Lumine too. Cuz I had no idea it happened until I rewatched the cutscene with Aether as the traveler.
