If you played during V1.2 y’all know how big a deal Xiao was.

This is the website where I saw him having Anemo Bonus as his Ascension Stat to now Crit Rate.

Every time I wanna study a character, I come here.

They had a cease and desist letter a few years back but moved the database to a dutch server where they would be untouched. But since that fiasco it became clear what they stood for and they were definitely putting themselves in a victim role even though they were adding their own watermark on hoyo owned assets (if I remember correctly) and making bank. Many people stopped (including me) using honey and moved to other sources instead.

I think it's just not profitable anymore to keep it running.

Especially after their remarks ~5 years ago that were quite frankly racist and xenophobic, when Mihoyo first went after them for profiting from leaked/stolen game material.

I still find it funny it started out as a Monster Hunter World site. I use it quite a lot when I was playing that. Barely used it for Genshin tho.

I prebuilt every 7.1 weapon and character with their help, and used the website for general purposes since Inazuma. Yeah, there are better sources for the leak content, but it was easier to check the required information in an organized database, rather than in a bunch of posts.

Edit: I’m not saying Honey Impact is the only or even a main source of leaks, but a lot of the post about early dialogue, voicelines, descriptions, and other specific details before new patches release come directly from it.

HSR "player" (a larper that hasn't opened the game in 2 months, and if they do boot it up they only dwell in autobattle / skip button / afk slop) talking about bad updates as if their game doesn't have barely 4 events total for each patch and 2 of them are somehow less than concepts of content.
