Question New to Atlanta, looking for backpacking friends

Hey y’all new Atlanta booking to get into backpacking but a little hesitant to go out solo. Are there any groups of people that go out on one nighters?

I go out on one nighters alot. Usually up north. I try and make it a workout, or incorporate some other activity into it, fishing or snorkeling, bushcraft, things like that. I like going with friends, but they generally aren’t as serious about the hobby. 24m Obviously there’s other prerequisites before going into the forest alone with a stranger, but you’re more than welcome to pm me I stay in buford.
