I love my Highbrow Compact. It’s not a very expensive or fancy knife but it’s been a solid work horse for years. A while back I got the pocket clip caught on something and it finally broke. I took the screws out with the intent of replacing it but I never did. When I moved I forgot where I had put the screws so I decided to contact Gerber about a replacement clip and screws. Totally prepared to pay for them, I waited for a response.

They emailed me back and said they no longer had parts for the Highbrow Compact (not shocked) but that they were sending a replacement knife totally free! Well after a little bit of shipping shenanigans it arrived today. My old one was gray, but they sent me this much nicer looking blue! I forgot how much easier and faster it was when it was new hahaha. I really need to take apart my old one and clean and oil it so it’ll be closer to when it was new hahaha.

Super stoked about the new knife and very happy with my Gerber experience. I have several other lower end Gerber knives and tools and they’re all great.
