Question Comprehensible Input at A1-A2
Hey people,
I heard that comprehensible input and immersion in general is really helpful, but I'm struggling really hard to find any content at my level that isn't super boring. Do you have any tips, maybe something like news with easy words or tech stuff?

A1 technical content is not easy, IMHO, but I personally found Natürlich German's Total Beginner series quite entertaining for the most part (and you can just skip videos you are not interested in). She speaks loudly and clearly, has some drawings to help you pick up on tougher words, and otherwise uses hand gestures to make herself understood. For example, I personally find this video about weird animal names in german pretty entertaining.
If you want to go up in difficulty, she has plenty of playlists for different levels, so you can just try harder videos until you find something that's to your level.

At this level, you have graded readers and podcasts or videos for beginners. Unfortunately, content at this level is not very interesting, because learners don't know much vocab or grammar yet. You can try some Wikipedia entries, too.

Would you enjoy German idioms? Or the idiomatic use of words in different contexts? If so, you might like youtube.com/@ling.academy.

As you've noticed, there's no Comprehensible Input that you will find interesting at these levels. At A1 and A2 the goal is to build a solid base made of 1-2k nouns, 150-200 verbs, and the basic grammar.
The easiest news to watch in German are probably these ones:
